The AWA, upon reading Uncle Mike’s report, is quite concerned about the number of derelict port tackers, they aren’t really concerned about injuries, sail-burn (similar to carpet burn), and/or broken equipment (NOT to be confused with spontaneous equipment failure in 18hours or less). They are really really scared of the liability, such that Storm-ryders has agreed* to run lessons.

There will be a lesson early Saturday morning for derelict port tackers, normally the fee for such a lesson is $149.98, in the interest of public safety the fee will be waived for the following people:
Wayne Bowness
Brett Morris
Lewis Pullen
Rick Murray
Mike Nelson.

The invite is open to anyone from Hornsby and anyone south of an imaginary line running east-west through Hornsby.
i.e. Lake Macquarie sailors need not apply.

The lesson will be run by the Rebel Alliance, MASTER Yoda Ferenczy, and Obi-Wan Healey. Re-enactments will be done by Sam Skywalker and Nathan Solo. Whose who fail to attend this non-compulsory lesson will have to answer to OLD SALT.

Great to see you can still write, reassuring to see you still can’t spell. There will have to be a hell of a lot of horizontal rocking before enough competitors are removed to get you back on the winners list Uncle Mike.

Your point about the absence of new dads & mums is not stupid (there’s a first). “Root a Windsurfer Today” showed the way to increasing numbers but it assumed the sailors would know what to do with the little buggers when they arrived. As has been recently threatened, a sequel to point the way to combining successful parenthood with increased time on water is on the way.

So hang on all you desperate, clueless, parental types, help is on the way.

Went sailing today on a dutch lake. In a 5mm wetsuit and sealed booties and a beanie…. what am I still doing here :-/ lol.
