All this talk about the Husky Pub on Saturday night 'almost' makes it sound like a few of you stayed out past 9pm.

Chris tried to tell me he stayed out past midnight. hahahahaha, GOOD ONE.

I've accidently picked up a Ripcurl Boot. Let me know if you're walking around in circles.

Cheers Nathan

even though I wasn't racing it was apparent how friendly the whole Formula crew is. It was great fun watching the racing and hanging out with a lot of you on Saturday night. I was having a hard enough time sailing on my slalom gear on Sunday let alone trying to hold onto a 10 metre sail and standing on a door!! Respect to you all and especially so for Sams results. Awesome job mate.
I hope to see you all at Hawks Nest for another perspective on the scene.

One of the best weekends ever!
Even the one race on Saturday was in great conditions. Nick Nelson had the perfect Race Officer weekend also, making all the right decisions, what a star....
John, i think i called you James? Whoops...

Huski Highlights

-Brett calling me Jimmy - over and over! It is only my third season!
-Anthony and Rick in a meeting of minds (and equipment). The splash was mast high.
-Finding the N flag (lost overboard from the startboat) on my way out to the start, how was Nick going to abandon races without it.
-UncleMike helping me get through the shorebreak (which turned out to be not too bad anyway) - very much appreciated.
-Bretts 5 minute rigging lesson - it takes me that long to get sunscreen on.
-Watching Dave Allen in Tibors van. Very cultured for a Sunday morning.

Then there was Saturday night and the detritus
-The Ham draw - more excitement then one person could handle alone.
-Rick making strategic exits from the RSL to keep his VOR yacht on the straight and narrow. ;-)
-Trying to talk to Peter once he had downed 15 schooners.
-Toolies night out at the Husky - Yaaaaayyyyyy.
-The arrival of the "magic bus" at around 11pm (taking the ugly girls away and dropping off the stunners)
-Being mistaken for Peter Hellier. WTF!
-SamF trying to be aloof about his conquests. Still waters obviously run very deep indeed.
-Jason reminding us that he only uses his powers for good, not evil.
-Trying to convince SamP we need Trucker hats so we can fit in with the "young'uns".
-Chris ruining the "which is better - B'berry or Nokia" - discussion by dropping his B'berry from 6ft - it survived, the discussion didn't.
-Losing Peter the instant we left the pub.
-BarryF informing us that SamF was a "little the worse for wear" on Sunday morning.
-Peter rigging up for racing and appearing to be unscathed by the nights imbibes - certain proof that there is no god.

I think there was some racing too, but ashore it was better then a weekend at the circus.

Attention all WAGS (Wives & Girlfriends of Sailors)

I am keen to go on a dolphin/whale watching cruise this weekend. All of the conferences I've ever been to have a "partners program" so it's about time we started one for windsurfing:)

Details are at http://www.dolphinwatch.com.au

If anyone is keen to join me, let me know at salsrainbow@yahoo.com, or find me on the weekend near the AUS 015 sails!
