NSW Formula States



img_0122.JPGAfter two perfect days of racing, Jesper Vesterstrom takes out the coveted NSW State Formula Championships trophy with Sam Parker beating last year’s winner Sean O’Brien into 2nd by 0.25 points!

38 sailors managed the 8 races in 10-15 knots on Saturday and 10-25 knots on the Sunday before the thunderstorm. Checkout the full results below, photos and report from Mike & Angela Nelson…

    Congratulations again Sam! Another really tough and close event.

    That’s two big events in a row now you realise. Hopefully the luck doesn’t continue next week in Brisbane ;)

    2 of the nicest days racing I can remember. Bring on Redcliff and some more close racing hopefully a little closer to Jesper this time.

    My pick of the weekend was Mitch and his lunch of a 12 pack of doughnuts, 4 pack of dips and bag of goon for refreshment. Freak!

    Hey Chris, shouldn’t you have already left for Brisbane??

    If Sydney-Melbourne is a 2 day drive… Sydney-Brisbane is a 4 day drive… Racing starts Tuesday.
