Jason,

presume you found the pain killers & are still high; must be to refer to those blokes as athletes.

Did some serious personal injury trying to pump myself onto the plane at Kyeemagh the other day for our,,, "fun Slalom" race. Had 110L with a 6.8m sail on a 36cm SL2. IN 4 KNOTS OF WIND!!!! (could have been the wind shadow cast by the massive rig of Dr FIN who started early,,, next to me on the line) ;-)

DR FIN, (chris Ting) won the day with a customized 300L JP slalom board, A 15.5m RS Racing Sail, and a 95cm Hybrid formula fin. He'll tell you he had much smaller stuff,,,, but we all know the truth!!!! Even Sam tried cheating by using a sail that was filled with HELLIUM!!!

Might need to have the race officials check the gear of the above mentioned athletes at this weekends Championship. ;-)

Hey Brett, am out of hospital and running short on the really heavy duty painkillers. Which means i should be lucid enough to help out over the weekend.
Looks like it's gonna be light. Can i open a beachside windsurfing stall and rent out my considerably large collection of formula gear to any slalom guys who may be underpowered???
You never know, a few might see the light and switch to the windsurfing class of the gods........FORMULA!!! ;-)

Brett, can you add details of the Ramsgate Beach location to the "Sailing Locations" map page? There are a few carparks along the beach there - just wondering which one we will be sailing from - whats the closest cross street?

The more the merrier. There is a couple of Kiwis racing also... Actually Victoria did all they could to run the event. There was no one reason for the change of venue, but safety / License was a major factor...

The really good news is that next years event will be special, but more on that later.
