NSW Windsurfing Series – Heat 3Results Report Photos

Forty Racers, including a small fleet of BIC Techno293’s turned up for 2 days of great racing at Lake Macquarie. With 2 races on Saturday and 4 on Sunday in about 12-15 knot NE breezes, there was plenty of racing action to be had. Steve Floyd AUS-222 won the event with 3 bullets. Thanks to the organisers for such a great weekend’s racing – yet again and congratulations to the new racers who completed their 1st event…

    Well done Steve. Always knew that one day you would come good, despite what everyone else said. Was it the weight saved by not having an uphaul that made the difference?

    I had begun to worry, since you started copying my fashion ideas & hair cut and given that my first name is the same as yours, that perhaps I might have met your mother at some time in the distant past, perhaps about 9 months before your birth. But since you have started winning my mind is at rest, clearly there is no genetic link.

    Steve uses an uphaul doesn’t he? I thought I was the only one stupid enough to not use one…It’s only drag.

    Last race I finished 15th behind Mitch, but I got 21pts. Don’t understand that.
